Mission Endowment Fund

The purpose of the Mission Endowment Fund (MEF) is to enhance the mission outreach of Christ Lutheran Church apart from the general operation of the congregation.

MEF provides funds for organizations serving:

  • The Verde Valley

  • The Grand Canyon Synod of the ELCA

  • ELCA Missions in this Continent and the World

  • New Ministry Opportunities within the Congregation

MEF seeks to support organizations focused on addressing the following needs:

  • Training and education

  • Healthcare

  • Recovery

  • Employment

  • Shelter

Within these need areas, MEF outreach may be targeted toward a wide range of programs and activities, such as:

  • New program startups

  • Scholarships

  • Ministries and staffing

  • Material and equipment

  • Capital improvements
